My Story
I am running the London Marathon in April and raising money for Cancer Research. Recently, cancer has affected two of the people I love most dearly in life and it's brutal to watch. Most of us will know someone who has had cancer or lost someone to cancer and in turn, has felt that sorrow of death. Cancer Research's work is vital to the lives of cancer sufferers. The work they do moves us closer to better treatment and outcomes for anyone who is diagnosed with cancer. Over the last few months, I've felt so helpless, so I am turning to the one thing I know how to do... I'm going to run. I've never run a marathon before and really have no idea what lies ahead. I'm focusing on my why, and getting ready to dig deep. Closer to April, I will link this page to my strava so you can track the progress of my runs. I am holding myself accountable to everyone who sponsors me. Official training starts on December 28th, but building my strength at the gym and preparing my mind starts now.
