My Story
Cancer is happening right now in front of us. It is happening to our friends, our colleagues, our loved ones and to us. It shatters our dreams, our families and our happy lives forever. Every 2 minutes, someone is diagnosed with cancer in the UK. It is much closer to us than we think which is why I'm taking part in a ‘Race for Life’ 5k with my 14 years old daughter to raise money. I have never taken part in any other challenge of this kind before. It will be hard but nothing compared to the pain of those who suffer from cancer. We are counting on your support to raise funds so we can all beat it together. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work, so please stand up with us hands in hands to save lives and donate graciously.

Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
