My Story
Thank you for taking the time to visit and read my just giving page. I first did this two years ago and due to being too poorly last year I didn't take part. This year has been difficult for everyone, emotionally and financially. I'm sure alot of you are aware that cancer care and other life saving treatments have been harder to access during covid, and those going through these illnesses will have faced an even harder time having to cope whilst shielding and having less physical support from friends and loved ones. I know there are many other charities that will have struggled to gain much fundraising support over the last year, however I've picked this one because it's close to my heart. Having witnessed first hand the suffering cancer causes not just to those who have it but their families and friends, too many people close to me and in our wider community have either lost their battle, or are continuing to bravely fight against cancer, and hopefully more research will mean more cures and treatments and more priceless time with loved ones. This year has been hard financially for many people, so please only give what you can afford, £1 will be received with as much gratitude as £10.
