My Story

I'm jumping out of a plane as part of Policy and Information's Stand Up To Cancer fundraising! I’m trying not to think about it too much, but I will indeed be jumping out of a plane on 22nd October to raise vital funds for Cancer Research UK’s SU2C fundraiser. As I ‘appreciate’ the view on the way down, I’ll try to think of all our loved ones who’ve had their own fears to face thanks to cancer. We need to keep funding high quality research in all relevant fields and translating that into practical benefit in order to improve the outlook for current and future generations. Really grateful for any contribution you can make - many thanks. Thanks to UK Skydiving Adventures for donating my skydive to Cancer Research UK (

100% of the money you raise goes towards speeding up life-saving research. Every day, scientists and researchers work tirelessly to beat cancer. But lab researchers will not get us there alone. Every penny raised helps speed up breakthroughs in the lab, transforming them into new tests and treatments for patients who need them. The research you fund will help us see 3 in 4 people in the UK survive their cancer by 2034.
