My brother Jonny was 2 years older than me, my big brother. We were 2 of 4 siblings an even bigger brother Tim and our younger brother Richard. In December 2017 Jonny went to his GP with shoulder pain and within 12 days his cancer was confirmed, less than 8 months later he died, he was 58. Our parents cared for Jonny at home with total unconditional love and were there with him, as were my brothers and I, on the morning Jonny finally left us. Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 5k to raise money and save lives. 15 members of my family aged from 3 to 83 (our mum) will walk in Jonny's memory on the 30 th June 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime.
