In memory of
Dad, Auntie Sheila and my Nan
My dad died of pancreatic cancer less than a week after diagnosis. I stayed with him the night before he died to make sure he wasnt in pain or alone. He had never been overweight but his body looked like he weighed 6 stone and knowing there was no cure for this type of cancer horrified me. I've lost some of the most important members of my family to cancer; auntie Sheila when I was 9 and my nan to lung cancer. Cancer has touched the lives of everyone at some point and it's something that needs to be stopped or at least treatable for all types, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 5k to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime.
