Shine Liverpool 10k 2019

The Liverpool SHINE Walk is taking place on Saturday 31 August 2019. This is a 10k walk through Liverpool at night in aid of Cancer Research. Usually, the only reason the Strodes would walk through Liverpool on a Saturday night would be in the quest for gin. But for one night only, we are swapping our gin for water, donning our trainees and getting out there to raise some money. We might have a gin after the walk like. But in all seriousness, cancer affects so many lives. Most of us now know someone who has had cancer, or had have it ourselves. Both Tom and I have had friends and relatives who have beaten cancer, and we're so grateful for the ongoing research that means more people can be cured from cancer and live long, healthy lives.
