My Story
Cancer has touched my family in many different ways. I've lost my grandfather, my aunt and family friends to different types of cancer, and I've seen how cancer completely changed the lives of aunts who survived it. This is why this cause is so very closed to my heart. I’m taking on the Walk 30 Miles in September Challenge to help raise money for Cancer Research UK. As someone who works in cancer research, I see first-hand how charities like CRUK can make a difference, supporting groundbreaking work not only to improve the chances of people surviving cancer, but also to help people be diagnosed earlier and to have a better quality of life. Every mile I walk and every donation, big or small, will help support this vital work. If you’re able to donate, I’d be incredibly grateful. Together, we can help give people more time with their loved ones.

Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
