My Story
This March I’m walking 10,000 steps a day throughout the month to help beat cancer. As many of you are aware we have seen the horrible wrath of cancer within my family - with my brother Jonathan being diagnosed with lymphoma. The current pandemic has not helped treatment and research, as such during his birthday month of March I’m going to be walking 10k steps a day! I used to find 10k steps easy, but with a 3 year old and 10 month old in tow it’s getting more difficult to pick up the pace. As such I thought not only would this be the perfect chance to try and raise some funds for a cause close to my heart but also to work on my fitness.

Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
