My motivation is everyone I know battling cancer.
My Story
I was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2003 so this Charity is literally "close to my heart". I also have friends either in remission or currently undergoing treatment for cancer and it means a lot to me to take part in this and raise money for a great cause. I hope to request match-funding from my work which will boost the total amount I raise. I will be running with my daughter and two granddaughters.

Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
