My mum who beat Cancers Ass! Plus Family and friends who have survived or sadly have lost :(

My Story

Team Byron is ready to beat Cancer!!! I know way too many people who have had cancer and beaten it (my wonderful mum!) and also too many who have sadly lost their lives to this. Friends have lost mums, aunts, grandparents, dads to this and I really want to raise as much as I can to help support the fantastic work Cancer Research does. I turned 40 this year- but never too old to raise money!! This year i have decided to do 2 challenges to raise money for Cancer Research - 7k Nuclear Rush Muddy Obstacle course in May and 5k Pretty Muddy in June But this year I'm not alone.....!!! My lovely sister in law Claire will be joining me for Pretty Muddy in June - her first Muddy Race!!! And my husband Matt will be joining me on the Nuclear Race in May (whether we cross the finish line at the same time is another thing!) 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work, so please sponsor me now. Donating through this page is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with Cancer Research UK.
