My Story
Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 5k to raise money and save lives. This cause is very close to our Hearts, some closer to home than others. We all know someone, a family member, a friend, a colleague or even a fitness buddy who has had to go through treatment, is living with cancer or has lost their battle to cancer. We are all members of Powerhoop Barnsley a close knit fitness group who powerhoop weekly to socialise and become fitter for life. We want to kick cancers arse by joining the race for life so please help us to raise some money for Cancer Research 💪 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
