Sarah's Race for Life
Hastings 10k 2019
Sun 9 Jun 2019 - Sun 9 Jun 2019
Sooo, many of you have been following my weekly park run times... walking / jogging / running each week has been a huge step for me and I am rather proud. In 16 consecutive weeks I have managed to go from 50.58 to 34.25. I thought I should put this running to a greater cause than just my wellbeing. I have signed up for not only the 5k Pretty Muddy in Brighton but also the Hastings 10k Race for Life. Cancer Research is a charity that is very close to my heart. Granma had her diagnosis in December 2017 and Dad in July 2018. I am eternally grateful for the diagnosis, treatment and monitoring. For the support and guidance from everybody involved. Granma and Dad are my immediate family who have been affected, but they are not the only people. There are loved ones lost who will always be remembered. I run to push myself. To challenge myself. To step outside my comfort zone. I run to remember those who lost their fight, those who won their fight and those who are fighting their fight. I run to help in any way I can. I would be eternally grateful if you could find a couple of pennies in your pocket to support this cause. Much love to you all 😘
