My Story
Those of you who know me will know how much cancer is currently impacting mine and my families life. You don't realise how many people are impacted until it affects you.. In fact 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed in their lifetime. I want to raise money to help researchers find new and better ways to help people fight cancer and to also show my support to my mum who i know is strong enough to fight this awful disease. For somebody that has only been on 2 runs in their life, the thought of running 10k is a challenge, so any support and generosity will be hugely appreciated! Not only will I complete the race but we will also go a small way towards beating cancer once and for all.

Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
