I'm taking part in Race for Life to raise money to beat cancer sooner. As we all know cancer is indiscriminate and cruel and I’ve lost too many loved ones to this awful disease including my lovely Dad

Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 5k to raise money and save lives.

1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work, so please sponsor me now.
💖I’ve lost my Nanna, Grandad, uncles, great aunt, great nephew and a close friend as well as my amazing Dad. That’s too many! When you consider that’s just my circle and I’m not that old yet, ahem. I hate that Jessica knows about cancer and how indiscriminate it is. She has already lost her Grandad and Aunty Lynne and worries about those close to her. We all now have a 1 in 2 chance of developing cancer in our lifetime and this is something I don’t want Jessica to have to experience, again or worry about. I’m doing this to raise money, yes but also awareness. Live your best life but be mindful of looking after yourself, Check yourself and go get checked as none of us are invincible. Thank you for reading 💖
