As a family (my father, brother and myself), we have lost the two most important and precious ladies in our lives to cancer.
In 2003, I lost my fantastic Mum. She had courageously fought for six months, but sadly passed away having just turned 50. The impact this had and the loss we felt, still affects us today.
In November 2018, my lovely Aunty, who had managed to fight cancer for 18 months, sadly passed away. She was my friend, my confidante and always there when I needed her (just like a Mum).
Far too many families have a story very similar to ours and there is nothing worse than losing the people you love the most to this horrible disease.
1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work. Please help me to raise as much as possible
