I'm taking part in Race for Life to raise money to beat cancer. In my personal life and in my professional career as a paediatric nurse I have seen broken hearts due to cancer. We can do this!

Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 5k to raise money and save lives.

1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work, so please sponsor me now.

I have never ever run before. I am super
unfit as I haven’t done exercise in many many years. I didn’t even attend PE lessons at high school! So I have set myself the challenge of running the full 5K. I have been doing on and off training using the couch to 5K app.
People with cancer go through the unthinkable and yet remain so strong. My run will not only be to raise money for Cancer Research but will also be a heartfelt respect to all those out there battling cancer or supporting someone with cancer.
