My Story
We are a group of Staff and Students from Crofton School, who are taking part in the Portsmouth Pretty Muddy 5K. As a team, we have decided to take on this challenge for two reasons. Firstly to raise money for a cause very close to our hearts. Secondly to improve our health and fitness and raise the profile of women in sport! We have been training really hard throughout the year, and have made amazing progress so far. However now we need your help... Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
