My Story
Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 5k to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work, so please sponsor me. In my job I see the heartache and suffering caused by cancer, I see the detrimental effects it has on the lives of family and friends left behind. I see and feel the pain that cancer holds over these people and I feel that together. In today's world of advanced medical science, with enough money we can beat cancer and kick it's butt once and for all.

Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
