Sarah's Race for Life

There are very few people who go through life without being touched by Cancer in one way or another. Since I was a teenager I have been aware of the devastating impact this disease can have on people and their families. More recently I have seen the amazing work the NHS is doing to help treat and hopefully cure people and there are a couple of very special people in my life who are actively fighting this right now. There is so much research happening to develop and enhance Cancer treatments to treat the disease and improve quality of life from the treatments but more funding is needed - that is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 5k to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime.
