My Story
This January l turned 40! On my birthday I took a moment to reflect on my day how wonderful it was and how special my family is too me but their was and has been something missing every year...my wonderful father Fred. My father found out of his cancer when l was just 6 months old in 1981, I am one of four girls...Amanda was 14yrs, Nicola 10yrs and Claire 3yrs and my dad adored his precious girls. I would do anything to hold, kiss and hug my dad everyday and my only memory is pictures and stories. I hope by raising money doing the race for life will help another family to spend precious time with there father, mother, son, daughter, Husband, wife or grandparents and make a difference. My profile picture was taken just 2 weeks before he passed away, one of my few pictures together. So please please dig deep as Every little bit helps even if it’s just £1!
