My Nan meant a lot to me. I'm taking part in Race for Life to honour her and to raise money to beat cancer.

In memory of

My Nan, Catherine Hadley

Nan, had bowel cancer, she seemed to be fit and well for a long time. Then she got ill! It felt like she went so very quickly and the shock to us all in those last months was telling.

We all miss her in our own ways, and although it’s not much this is my way of giving something back.

Still loved, still missed and still very dear 💗

50minutes and 15seconds! It wasn't quick and it wasn't pretty, there was a moment toward the end when I thought I wasn't going to make it! 😂 I am sure every first time runner feels the same. I did make it, and it was because of you...all of my sponsors. YOU kept me going, you have had enough faith to put your mo at behind not only the cause but behind me too. Many of you keeping up to date with my progress and wishing me well along the way. THANK YOU.

I have just been told I have a cash sponsor and need to take my form round tomorrow, love all my sponsors and how much support has been shown. Never in a million years did I expect to raise this much money, it's a little overwhelming sometimes. Love you all ❤

Just over a week to go and suddenly I'm pooping my pants, not sure why. There's no pressure to run, can walk if I chose to. But got the collywobbles as nan would say. Let's hope it's a nice day for everyone x
