My Story
I think if you're reading this you will already know why I will be supporting cancer research UK by running this year's 10k race for life. I actually hate this day. Everyone has names of people on their backs of people who have cancer or, mostly, people who have died of cancer...... now why would I do this to myself? The emotional stress is almost unbearable I hate the chanting " we're coming to get you cancer" I hate the hysteria, but if I can help raise money to fund research for a cure for cancer I will endure the day.

Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
