My Story
Cancer has touched my life deeply. My Nan Shirley, a kind and strong woman who brought so much joy to everyone she knew, recently passed away from this terrible disease. It's a loss I feel every day, the absence of her laughter and the moments we could have shared. But her spirit inspires me. That's why I'm running a 10k, even as a complete beginner. Your support and donations fuel my determination to overcome this challenge. It's a testament to the strength we find within ourselves and the incredible things we can achieve, even in the face of hardship. Cancer's impact extends far beyond Nan Shirley. My mum, my other grandmother, my great-grandmother Lily (who we sadly lost), and even my step-great-grandmother Margaret (a survivor who bravely fought twice) have all been touched by this disease. I'm running for them, for Nan Shirley, and for everyone fighting this battle. With your help, we can make a difference.
