My Story
As most of you know June 2020 I was diagnosed with breast cancer (Stage 2-Grade 2) which had also spread to my lymph nodes. I had surgery to remove the tumour, then chemotherapy and radiotherapy. This obviously was a massive shock to me and would be to anyone but was even harder to process in the middle of a pandemic. I want to do this walk to raise money to give back to show my appreciation and thanks for everything that was done for me.

Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
