My Story
Having had cancer and relapsed, had total body radiation, chemotherapy and a bonemarrow transplant, I know how important it is to raise money for the research and to support the groundbreaking work which is being done today. Thank you for visiting my Fundraising Page. The money I raise will help fund life-saving research and to bring forward the day when all cancers are cured. I usually take part in the race for life but won't be able to this year. Instead I will be swimming 5k in the swimming pool where I will be staying. This means 358 lengths of a 14m pool. Please dive deeply into your pockets and support my motto... "Give to Let Other's Live"

Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
