My Story
Cancer affects so many people — not just those who are diagnosed, but their families, friends, and everyone around them. Almost everyone knows someone who has been impacted by it, and that’s why I want to do something to help. I’ve set myself a challenge of 100 push-ups every day to raise money for cancer research. It won’t be easy, and some days it will really push me, but that’s the point. Every push-up is a reminder of the strength and resilience shown by so many people, those who are fighting cancer right now, those who have fought it before and those who unfortunately could not fight it. Cancer research saves lives. The money raised will help fund better treatments, earlier diagnosis, and hope for the future. If my challenge can contribute even a small part to that, then it’s worth every single push-up. Thank you so much for any donation, big or small. Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
