Next Saturday (September 23rd) the Vezmar ladies (that’s Judy (aka medical mum, the instigator and fully qualified nurse of over 30 years), Stack-it-Steph (the middle sister, giggler and proud dog owner), Crazy Cat (the youngest, the dawdler) and me (the eldest and the organiser) are doing the London Shine Walk. A half marathon night walk for Cancer Research.
We are walking in aid of loved ones who have been affected by cancer. Our auntie Frances, and mum’s sister, our grandparents, our dad’s sister, Auntie Pam who passed away a couple of months ago and my fiancé’s nan, Isabel, who is currently in hospital with stomach cancer. We hope to raise a bit of money to help fund vital research so that in years to come we can find a cure for this terrible disease.
Embarrassingly our mum has gathered over £200 worth of sponsors whilst us sisters have got a tenner between us… AWKS!
Please help if you feel you can.
