Sarah & Isla's fundraising page

My daughter Isla 6, wants to do the race for life to raise money for her grampy so he can keep having the medicine to help him. She also wants to help others that have cancer, plus a medal for her efforts!!! So, with her as added inspiration we have decided to do it together. My dad....a true superhero was diagnosed with Lung Cancer in May 2015 and he has been amazingly strong since. Several rounds of chemo & radiotherapy, plus the emotional turmoil he has never once complained. How can you even begin to imagine living a life sentence yet stay so positive. He is such an amazing man and this is a disease he doesn't deserve. My husband, Isla's daddy had skin cancer 2014/2015 and has since had it removed and so far seems to be OK. (Fingers crossed) My Nan died in 2015 of Lung Cancer 5 weeks after diagnosis. So there we have it.....these are just some of the people closest to me that have or are suffering. Cancer deserves to die and so we are trying to raise as much as we can and hope you will put your hand in your pockets to help us smash £200. Cancer is happening right now, which is why we are taking part to raise money and save lives. Hopefully, not just my dad, but others too. You never know, next year it might be a marathon!!!
