In memory of
My Dad, John.
1st Sep 1951 - 19th May 2016
After a year of trying to get a diagnosis for my Dad's pain, he was finally diagnosed last year on 20 March 2016 with terminal pancreatic cancer. He was given 3 months to live as his cancer was so far advanced treatment was not an option at this point and he had been diagnosed too late. My lovely Dad passed away 8 weeks later at home. My Dad was the one with cancer but it affected my family too. Everyone lives with cancer in some way. Watching my Dad suffer with the pain for so long before being diagnosed was so hard. I'm so proud of how brave my Dad was. He didn't want to die; he wanted to live and experience more of life. Cancer is cruel and I'm doing face for life in memory of my Dad and to help raise money for a cure and to stop anymore suffering. Thank you for reading my story and thank you for any donations! :) Sarah xx Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 5k to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work, so please sponsor me now. Donating through this page is simple, fast and totally secure.
