We have a lot to be grateful for x

My Story

Story As you know we had a tough start to the year when Craig was diagnosed with stage 2 skin cancer. He/We were super lucky and after a couple of tough operations he got the all clear. We are eternally grateful! The what ifs are a unthinkable. During this time my friend Claire was a great support, being a breast cancer survivor she shared her story with me and helped me understand the stuff that was happening (as the wife of the patient there was a lot of waiting around in corridors while they took him off and did stuff I had no idea about!) she really put my mind at rest! Whilst this was all going on another good friend of mine got the news that her husband had lymphoma and it was pretty bad. They have 5 Children, the youngest just a baby. He is currently smashing his way through chemo and things are starting to look better for them! My Auntie Christine, I ran for her last year while she was fighting. This year, sadly I run in her memory :( Now let's go back to Claire for a moment. Not long after Craig got the all clear Claire was diagnosed with secondary breast cancer. It's back but she is fighting it and and is an absolute inspiration to everyone who knows her! Claire is a Younique friend and actually promoted from her hospital bed! Nothing stops this woman!! I have run race for life for the last 7 years, when I say run I actually mean run a bit, walk a bit, run a bit, die a little, walk again... Well this year I am going to try my dam hardest to run (perhaps slowly but who cares!) the whole 5k. If they can do all that they have done then I can at least try my best to do this! For Craig, For Claire, For Albert and for Aunty C xXx Megan Poppy and Willow May are also joining in, If you can spare a few pennies to sponsor us we would really appreciate it! Thankyou xXx
