My Story
For the second year I will be participating in this charity bike ride in memory of both my parents by cycling 300 miles throughout the month of September. My mum passed away in 2008 from lung cancer after aged just 52 and a survivor of cervical cancer when she was 28 and then we lost my dad in 2010 to Prostate cancer aged just 66. Cancer is such a destructive illness and anything to help prevent cure or eradicate it is worth investing in. When I think about all of the things that they have not been able to share with myself and my family it breaks my heart.
