My Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my Giving Page! Like most people Cancer has affected and taken loved ones away before their time in our family. It is with those family members in mind that i am choosing a charity event in their memory. This September i will joining the one day event in Yorkshire - Their 25 mile big hike! This is by far the furthest distance i will have ever walked in one go in my life!! With that in mind i am going to walk as many miles as my legs will carry me and to join in to raise awareness and sponsorship as some way to making a positive difference in other people’s lives. Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
