My Story

My name is Sarah I’m 34, When I was 17 my mum was diagnosed with breast cancer after chemotherapy and radiotherapy after a tough year she ended up losing her battle when I was 18 years old my sister was only 11 it was hard it is hard she was my rock my someone to turn to but I’m doing this for her, no matter where she is she’s always with me every day x I’m doing this memory of both my grandad’s who also passed from this awful disease, my Grandad on my dads side passed at home with us by his side he fought till the end and I’m so pleased I was there with him as he took his last breath and got to give him a kiss and say my goodbyes, My Grandad on my mums side I didn’t get to say my goodbyes I didn’t know until he’d passed so I hope he knows I’m doing this for him too x My other reason is my cousin Freddie who is 24 and has a gorgeous little boy and a her loving husband she’s been through one hell of a rollercoaster and although she has a terminal diagnosis she’s fighting her fight and certainly giving cancer the finger Lol she’s inspiring and makes me and everyone who reads her blogs and knows her proud. Then there is my best friend Joanna who is 41 and has a young family and she is fighting and kicking cancers ass, She has made me proud as her friend the way she fought her strength throughout the year and so now I want to raise money to help stop cancer ruining more lives. I just want to do my bit so here goes please help me and share by page let’s help kick cancers ass . To my family friends who know they know how close to me this is let’s do it x
