Together we are beating cancer
In May 2017 we were told that our son Alex had cancer, from that day our world was turned upside. Alex has 4 doses of high dose chemo left to go and 20 weeks of daycare chemo taking him through to June 2018. Alex hardly ever complains about what he’s going through and continues to be the strong, motivated, funny 15 year old he always has been. Him and all the teens on the ward in the QMC are wonderful and brave, I feel blesses to have got to know them all.
CAUSE
Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour.
