I’m rubbish at this exercise thing... but I want to be better. I know it will improve my life immeasurably. The last year or two has been horrific for many reasons, not least because of a cancer diagnosis. I’m out the other side now, but I now that this disease will always lurk not so far behind me... This September, I’m taking on Sweatember, exercising every day of the month to raise money for Cancer Research UK. Help bring forward the day when all cancers are cured by sponsoring me.

Cancer survival rates have doubled over the past 40 years. Consistent progress is being made but improvements to technology and ground-breaking work offer new opportunities to find different ways to prevent, diagnose and treat cancer and improve survival rates even further.
