My Story

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page. I’m going to swim my way to 10k in August to help raise money for Cancer Research UK. Cancer affects and touches the lives of so many individuals and that of their loved ones. Having lost a colleague to cancer recently, my brother currently undergoing treatment and close friends who have successfully come through the other side of it, this is something that is very close to my heart. So I wanted to do something to help fund life-saving research. Any donation no matter how small will be greatly appreciated. Thank you

Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
