My Story

I haven’t made this public before, but over the last 18 months I’ve been battling triple negative breast cancer, and it’s been one hell of a journey. I’m incredibly grateful to say that I’m still here — and most importantly, still fighting. My family and friends, along with my chosen (or “charmed”) family — Kerry, Keirsty, Ella, and my amazing, strong, and resilient daughter Eve (my reason for everything) — have ridden every wave of this journey with me. I truly couldn’t have done it without them, and this is my small way of saying thank you for the love, strength, and support they’ve given me throughout. Together, we’ll be taking on a 10k walk in the hope of raising money for cancer research. I’m aiming to walk it myself — and if not, I’ll happily be pushed round!
