My story begins at a very young age... my grandad Ian developed cancer thankfully he is still here to tell his story.. that man is an angel not only did he battle cancer but he built me and my sister our very own wendy house with his bare hands!! Soldier right!! Then again at the age of 20 cancer yet again struck my home!! My mum was told she has leukaemia. Although she is not clear of it she fights it everyday!! My nanny pat unfortunately passed away from thia horrible diease in 2016. This race is something that im not going to take lightly... as a curvy girl this is going to be a huge challenge!! But im going to take on the challenge and help beat cancer sooner!! Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 5k to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime.
