A dear friend we lost this year.
1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. It has hit home hard this year when a close friend my age is gone far too early, she touched so many lives and loved by many. We need to continue to fight this and do what we can to help - this is my way.

Cancer survival rates have doubled over the past 40 years. Consistent progress is being made but improvements to technology and ground-breaking work offer new opportunities to find different ways to prevent, diagnose and treat cancer and improve survival rates even further.
