2019 Kew Gardens 10k

Sat 14 Sep 2019 - Sat 14 Sep 2019

I am running to stand up to cancer and help make a difference in 2019.

My Story

“One day we will beat cancer. Help us make it sooner.” I have signed up to run my first ever charity 10K in aid of Cancer Research, on 14th September 2019 at Kew Gardens. Cancer has affected multiple members of my close family, so I am passionate about challenging myself to help make a difference. As we know, cancer has no limits - currently, 1 in 2 of us will be diagnosed at some stage in our lives, so progress is paramount. These are frightening statistics and I can only hope that one day we can all look back and reflect on how we’ve successfully turned the tables. “Progress against one type is progress against ALL cancer.” I am excited to participate and bring together as much support and awareness as possible. This is why I would be so grateful, no matter how big or small the gesture, if you would like to make a donation. If you would like to hear more about supporting on the day, or even just share this page to get the message out there, please know it means a lot and every little helps fight back. Thank you!

CAUSE

All Cancer Types

Our work has helped double cancer survival in the UK in the last 50 years. Despite this incredible progress, there’s more to be done. Nearly 1 in 2 of us will get cancer in our lifetime. Help us carry out world-class research into the prevention, detection and treatment of more than 200 types of cancer.
