This is for anyone who has fought, or is fighting cancer, and those that have lost their battle.
In memory of
Barbara Harrison and Sally Harrison
Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 10k to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work, so please sponsor me now. Donating through this page is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with Cancer Research UK. February 2016, I was diagnosed with Breast cancer, after finding a lump, I started my chemotherapy in March, and had six cycles of treatment in eighteen weeks. In August I had a skin sparing mastectomy, to remove the cancer and make a new natural breast, and then in the September I had three weeks of radiotherapy, I am now on tablets for ten years. This is just a brief summary of what happened to me, as so much goes on, and everyone is different. Lizzie, (daughter) and I decided to take part in race for life, (though there will be no racing/running!) to help support cancer research uk, we have lost family members through cancer, who are deeply missed. EVERYONE knows SOMEONE who is affected by this terrible disease, whether its a family member, a friend or a work colleague, whether they have fought, fighting or lost their battle. Please support us and spread the word! THANKYOU X
