I take part in this race every year in honour, and memory of my wonderful son, Todd. Families and lives are torn apart every single day by this cruel disease. Our lives were changed forever in 2003 and if I can help prevent even one family facing the heartbreak we have to bear, that would be wonderful. Without the vital research, this can and will destroy almost everyone's lives. Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 5k to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime!
