My Story
Thank you for visiting my fundraising page! Today marks 23 years since my dad, Aidan, passed away from cancer. I rarely speak about his death and the impact it had on my life and our family, and the impact it still has to date. Experiencing loss and trauma at whatever age, changes & shapes you, but such adversity isn't completely swallowed up in negativity if you don't allow it. Loss & trauma presents you with two roads and it's your own choice as to which you choose! Personally, living with such loss has made me extremely resilient, level headed, and given me a desire to never sweat the small stuff. Losing my dad was truly grounding and it forced me to understand the fragilities of life but to also cherish the special moments that inevitably come your way. I've not participated in a charity fundraising challenge before but this year I’m going to be doing the 100 Push-Ups a Day Challenge this January (perhaps sometimes with a Squash twist) to help raise money for Cancer Research UK. Please show your support and help fund life-saving research by donating to my page.
