My Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my fundraising page. In September this year I will be walking 100 miles in 7 days. I will be walking the Hadrians wall in 6 days and then traveling to London the next day to complete the Shine night Half marathon walk. Having lost my mother in October 2024 to cancer and have close friends have family suffering with cancer I am determined to challenge myself more and more, to make them feel supported. I've made several changes to my life since mum passed and one of them involves focusing on my mental and physical fitness. Challenging myself has always been something ive wanted to do and this feels like a great one to do. I'm aiming to raise £500 for cancer research in the process.

Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
