In 2015 I was diagnosed with a stage 4 liver tumour, a week before my 12th birthday. I was given a ridiculously low chance of survival but, against all odds, I beat it and I’m now 7 years post diagnosis and 7 years post transplant. This year, I’m running the race for life for everyone I met on the ward and in memory of the friends that I made that I’ve sadly lost to this disease. CAUSE
Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour.
