My Story

In 2009, I lost my Mum to cancer and also my Uncle in the same year, and in 2012 I lost my Grandma to cancer too. So, when I was asked to take part in this Pretty Muddy event (after initially hesitating!) I thought that it would be a great way of having fun in their memory, whilst also raising money for Cancer Research. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour.
