The Great Golf Challenge

My Story
In August this year I will be part of a four man team taking on Cancer Research's Great Golf Challenge. The Challenge is to complete 72 holes of golf in one day and raise as much money in doing so for Cancer Research UK. Someone in the UK is diagnosed with cancer every 2 minutes and most of us will know someone who has been affected by cancer. More and more cancer is becoming a treatable disease, but there is still work to be done. Cancer Research UK is a pioneer in cancer research that has helped to double cancer patient survival rates in the last four decades. Without donations from the public and hopefully whoever is reading this they would not be able to continue their lifesaving work.
CAUSE
All Cancer Types
Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
