My Story
Thank you for visiting our page! Here at De La Salle, almsgiving is very important to us. One of our core values "concern for the poor and social justice" fuels our charitable work. We strive to show our support for those who are struggling with the burden of money, those who are poor of spirit, friendship or time, and those who are poor of health. This half-term were raising awareness and funds for Cancer Research UK. Our event is being head up by three Year 7 students, Joseph, Adam and Charlie. Their lives have been impacted by cancer and they're so aware of the impact the illness has on so many other families across our community and so they asked their Form Tutor if they could do something about it! Let's Get Moving Together! Students across the Year 7 cohort have come together to support this cause and will be completing a 53 mile walk, in the run up to Christmas! On the last day, the three boys will finish our fundraising off by getting into the school gym and hitting the treadmill for 53 consecutive minutes! We're hoping to raise as much as we can during the next 7/8 weeks! Let's do this!
