My Story
My Sister, Jess, has been diagnosed with Hodgkin Lymphoma and is currently undergoing an intense course of chemotherapy treatment. It’s highly likely that this is linked to a bad case of glandular fever back in her late teens/early twenties. Cancer Research UK helps with research into the causes and treatment of all cancer. This is the first marathon I’ve ever run and although I’ve done a lot of running, I won’t have ever ran this far so it’s a huge challenge and this run will mean more than any run I’ve done before. I’ll be running this race with my Dad, and hopefully together we can make a small difference in the fight against cancer.

CAUSE
All Cancer Types
Cancer is complex. There are over 200 types of cancer, most of which have different biology and behaviour. With your support, our dedicated researchers can continue to discover better ways to prevent, detect and treat this disease, and bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
